The morning I made this I felt super sad. First, because my 7 month old has been waking up every few hours at night and her mama is starting to feel a bit nutter as a result(there is a reason why sleep deprivation is used as torture!). Secondly, because the chronic sleep deprivation is making me stupid, the last two MA projects I did were sent out before I completed the addresses - including a return address! AGGHHH!!! Our mail carrier tells my they will likely end up somewhere in Georgia (or was it Alabama??) where mail like that ends up. Sigh...
So, I decided to paint something happy to cheer myself up. This is going to my friend Jenny, another new mom, who understands.

Crisispanty, I just scrolled the entries using googlereader and came upon this card. I want you to know that eventually they do sleep all night and you do get over sleep deprivation. Oh I remember those days/nights so well. I was just speaking with a friend about how one's mind works or rather doesn't with lack of sleep. Good luck to you.

I'm not a new Mom either so I can assure you that it does get easier....and then she starts to drive! I'm just kidding.. :)
