I drew this from "The Rabbits" by Shaun Tan + John Marsden. Shaun Tan is my favorite artist. I though this rabbit would be fun to draw! Made with pen and copic markers
45/365 - For St. V. Day
This started out much better than it ended. I like delving into old photographs. This one was taken in San Francisco. I was in high school and cut class to wander around SF with my camera. I have also been saving the scraps from when I cut pictures out of magazines because I like the reverse effect. So far, so good...but then I added the stickers! Why oh why did I add the stickers?!
The bad news is that the postcard is already in the mail, so it's too late to recycle it into something better. The good news is that it's going to one of my best friends, who probably won't hold it against me : )
