I like Christmas cards but not that much to keep them. As I hate throwing things I decided make a collage out of them.
This piece was inspired by a mailart post we received from Mim a while back.

Cute card, Elena! I have gossiping birds at my feeders right now. I think they are telling stories about how bad the seed choice has been this month ... we haven't gone to the seed store to get the good stuff so they are eating boring supermarket seed.

I think I'm used to the birds so they don't wake me, but they are wonderful to listen to any time of day. We feed them well, so they visit a lot. Our cat (who is an indoor cat ONLY) loves the birds, too. She sits by the big window and watches them. It's kind of funny to see her stalk them when there is no way she could ever get them. And I think the birds know that, too. They seem to taunt her ... getting right up close to the window and shaking tail feather :-)
