Yay! I'm impressed. Starting in May I'm moving from Australia back to Oregon and we'll be doing it with a 6-8 week land trip through Asia. I almost didn't sign up MA365 because I knew I would be taking this trip and it would be hard to create something, nevermind scan and post it, everyday. But seeing your roadtrip treasures and Mim's that she made on her trip to NY has reminded me that it is possible and indeed desirable to create on the road. Besides, the majority of our travel will be on trains, plenty of time to cut, glue and draw. Thanks, if you have any advise I'd be happy to hear it.

My suggestion is to take an envelope with scissors, glue sticks, pens/pencils/crayons, and a bunch of 4x6 (postcard size) cardstock. Wherever you go, you can find debris, stamps, stickers, maps, subway tickets, paint chips, etc.. to make art. It will be so much fun to create with whatever you find in different parts of the world! If scanning is a problem, you can mail them and ask the recipient to scan them, or just hold on to them and scan them, sending them en masse from wherever you land. One other handy thing is a sheet of mailing labels. I print everyone's address on a sheet of mailing labels, then just choose the lucky recipient, and stick it on the card. It's a great tip Sue. Debris from travel is really fascinating for those of us stuck in one place, especially Asian debris with all it's cool typography and images!

I'll be taking a leaf out of your book while we're here in Romania and will be sending some Romanian printed stuff out soon
