Tomorrow is the Big Day. It's finally here and it begins.............It will be a huge challenge and a big deal to be able to complete it.
With all the other things that fill up my time (school, being a mom, airforce events etc)
one piece of art per day for a year will be fun. It will show how dedicated I really am
when I put my mind to it.
I plan to post my thoughts and feelings about creating
via my blog and also record here.....along with a piccy of the artwork itself.
It's a simple plan..........Make my commitment to my art and those that are also involved with mailart 365 and do .

Some of us will have a hard time staying motivated during such a lengthy commitment. One way to stay motivated is by having the blog specifically for tracking the project’s progress during the year, and post the results daily. People will be expecting to see something from us and this will keep us motivated.
Another way to stay accountable and keep motivated is to get a fellow designer to do the challenge with you. During the year, you can show each other what you’ve designed each day, allowing for some healthy, friendly competition.I hope you will all be up to 'challenging' me :)
I am excited about it because I will get to draw everyday again or use some other medium after almost stopping entirely for a few years.
Doing something every day short-circuits procrastination and self-doubt. There’s only time for doing, and doing = happiness.
