I'd wanted to try weaving fabrics for a while, and these two prints were ideal to begin with.  They also make me happy because they remind me of dresses my mother made for my sister and me when we were little for the annual Christmas program.  Hers was green and mine was red, and they both had flecks of gold shot through them.  6 of 365 by Boo Cartledge.  Sent to Rachel Freeman.

I've been to Washington twice, but never got to visit Arlington yet. On my next trip, it's a definite destination. I was trying to convey a sense of 'eeriness' in this piece.

I've been working with fabrics for decades and with using fabric for postcards for several years.  I love contemporary commercial fabrics; I find them delightful and exciting and varied and alive with color -- and the holidays have all of those things and more.  5 of 365, Boo Cartledge.  Sent to Brent Leopold.

I created this for the 'Message in a Bottle' Mail Art Call. My inner child & I have insecurity issues. I'm constantly trying to reassure her that I'll take care of her! Yes, it would probably take a whole panel of psychiatrists about a month & a half working 24/7 to sort it all out!
