I often run across a photo that I just can't pass up. This is one of those photos. A time lapse photo of the movement of stars across the Northern Lights. I added the horse for depth & contrast, and was really happy with the result.

Everybody needs to do at least one -- or more -- Valentine Day card(s)! They're so pretty, and I haven't received one in many, many years, so I'll just make my own!

I changed a colored photo of a manor hall into RGB black & white, then colorized it. I added a Waterhouse lady to give it a classic look.

A continuation of my series on the Old West. I love these rugged images of cowboys, Indians, and the wildlife that were legendary elements of American history.

I bought a new Photoshop CS3 'recipe' book. I took a color photo of Teleborg Castle, and used the 'recipe' for a 'dark, brooding background.' Voila! It worked great. Can't wait to try some more of the 'recipes'!

I found a photo of a deserted beach in Scotland with a boat pulled up onto it. It had an ethereal feeling, so I went with that and added characters to try to increased the eeriness of the scene.

These ladies are braver than I am -- no way would I go wading in a Florida swamp!

My Legends series is about legends of the Old West. I have great admiration for the Native American culture, and consider them to be definitely western legends. The peace pipe was taken from a photograph that I changed into a poster print.

I loved this group of ballerinas, but couldn't figure out what background would do them justice. Then I found this huge lillypad with its little frog resident, and decided to let the ladies dance on the lillypad!

I thought this photo of the wolf was so beautiful, and chose this background of a partial lunar eclipse to add mystery & really make the wolf pop off the foreground.

Three Waterhouse ladies in front of Bodian Castle. I turned the photo of the castle into a poster print in Photoshop, them added the ladies in the foreground.

Fifth in the Legends Series. This one is a homage to Native Americans.
