Sew, sew, sew...I am going to start using other colours of thread for my next set of stitched postcards. Its hard because I like the obviousness that the black thread has. I will try using complimentary colours, that should help.

While painting postcards, I used this scrap paper to catch the access paint. After using it so many times, I realized it was pretty. Re-use and re-purpose! Its all fair in mail art.#41 and 42
I painted these while still on vacation. I apologize for the delay.
I was hoping to send them while I was there, but I had to seal them so the paint didn't transfer too much.
I have pictures of my trip and of some of the fish I saw up on my other blog.

I love Oahu. Sand, sun, ocean. It's around 30 below in the part of Alberta I am from. Blizzards and snow days. I can handle the warm rain we had today.

Another altered postcard from my travel. We left Red Deer at 3am flew out of Calgary at 7 am and layover in San Francisco at 10am then in Honolulu at 2:30. long day but awesome!

I am trying so hard to get caught up with my posts. Holidays are busy. A friend is visiting me for the past couple days. We have been crafting and scrapbooking the entire time. I snuck in some mail art.

For a couple of days I have been building shelves and a desk for my craft room. It's looking really good so far. I hope I get it done before my trip. I just can't wait until I have it done.

I love vintage images and photos. The mystery of who these people were, who took the photo. Could they have imagined that people would be using their likeness in a collage? Would they approve? Hmm...

I got a serger for Christmas. I just got a new desk to put it on. I can't wait to set it all up.
